WhatsApp New Group Calling Feature For Voice and Video Is Now Live on Android and iOS

WhatsApp has just announced the group calling feature for audio and video calling to its users, which was reported to be 1.5 billion monthly active users back in January. The feature will be available on both the iPhone and Android versions of the app.

The company recently announced that Individual can add up to four participants simultaneously to the group Voice and Video call. To add other people to the call, you need to first start the voice or video call with one participant then simply tap on “add participant” option at the top right corner of the screen.

In its release, the company also said that the group call feature will always be end-to-end encrypted which is similar to all chats on the platform. The feature has also been specially designed to work on different network conditions around the world.
